In your role as an EDDA at our office, your responsibilities will include:

-Setting up and sterilizing equipment in a timely and competent manner

-Ensuring patients are as comfortable as possible before procedures
-Keeping the dentist and hygienist supplied during procedures and ready to handle unexpected situations with tenacity & understanding
-Patient education such as oral hygiene instructions & appliance care instructions

-Recording notes in patient management software

-Fitting Crowns for adjustments & take impressions of tooth structure

-Digital Dental Photography

Position Requirements:

-HS diploma or equivalent
-Associate degree in the medical purview
-Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) Certification
-Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the dental field
-Thorough familiarity with Microsoft office and Dental software
-Charismatic and friendly disposition
-Must have a strong sense of organization and attention to detail.
-Familiarity with CareCredit preferred
-Must be a registered dental assistant.
-Must have a valid X-ray certification.
