Primary duties:
- Read blueprints, order materials and self-supporting at their level
- Understand basic electrical theory for field applications
- Work with 480/277v, 240/208/120v systems
- Understand National Electric Codes and how to use a code book
- Handle service calls at their level
- Troubleshoot basic electrical circuits
- Install motor starters and control devices
- Troubleshoot in plants
- Install conduit, M/C cabling and various typical wiring methods typical to commercial industrial work
- Additional opportunities for Solar, Data and fiber optic cabling installs
Qualifications:
- Journeyman or Masters license preferred
- Must have at least 3 years of electrical experience
- Commercial/Industrial experience is preferred
- Self-motivated and a team player
- PLC knowledge, enough to be able to land wires in control panels from diagrams
- VFD basic understanding
- Generator install experience preferred
