Intake Eligibility and Outreach Specialist
About us
The primary mission of Energy Services is to provide limited income families with the services and assistance necessary to prevent and or alleviate energy-related emergencies from occurring, while promoting initiatives that result in a family’s long-term self-sufficiency.
Energy Services is seeking qualified applicants for an Intake Eligibility Specialist position for our offices located in Shawano, Oconto and Keshena (Menominee County). This position is full time and will serve all communities within Oconto, Shawano and Menominee. Must have a passion and outgoing personality for working with limited and low income households, excellent customer service, math and computer skills. This very rewarding position is a combination of processing applications either in person with the customer or over the phone to establish the eligibility for energy assistance, collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders within the community, attending community events to serve the low income population of the counties listed above, specifically veterans, disabled, elderly and families with young children. Experience working in a non-profit setting with limited income families, elderly and veterans a plus. Bi-lingual (Spanish) language skills are also a plus. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00, hours will increase in October through March to include some Saturday mornings.
