Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Environmental Field Technician who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients’ success. This position will be working out of our Peoria, IL location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing environmental field work in coordination with contractors and project managers
- Accurate and timely reporting of field activities, both in the field and in the office
- Environmental data management
- Travel to project locations to perform surveying, sampling, logging, and processing
- Driving trucks and ATVs and pulling trailers
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
- Previous experience processing/sampling wastewater and groundwater
- Valid driver license
- Ability to travel greater than 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience performing environmental field work
- Previous experience in construction observation and construction quality assurance (CQA) oversight
- Previous experience in soil/sediment core logging, processing, and sampling
- Previous experience with RTK GPS surveying, AutoCAD Civil 3D, landfill hazardous waste reporting and survey audits, nuclear density gauges, and ground water modeling
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Mechanical inclination
- 40-hour Hazwoper certification
