Environmental Services Technician - Starting at $16.02 per Hour Job at Friendship Village of Schaumburg
Friendship Senior Options is currently hiring for Full-Time Environmental Services Technicians at its Friendship Village of Schaumburg location. Will be responsible for providing clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the residents, associates and visitors. Prior hotel/hospital housekeeping experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning occupied residents' rooms, discharged or transferred units, utilities rooms, offices, dining rooms, floor refinishing, general floor care, carpet and furniture shampooing, general trash removal, Bio-hazardous waste removal and restroom cleaning.
- Perform light maintenance such as replacing or repairing fans, unclogging toilets as needed, replacing light bulbs.
- Remove recycle trash by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal area.
