The Equipment Sales Representative is accountable for the growth and development of our customer base for full line Machine Sales, Used and supporting Rental for Cherokee and Union County South Carolina as well as all compact equipment Sales, Used and supporting Rental for York County South Carolina.

Responsibilities:
What you will do:
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and promote the vision, mission and values of BMC.
  • Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop action plans to increase customer satisfaction that will close the gaps and measure performance as the means to seek continuous improvement in the work process.
  • Develop, manage and maintain a list of key accounts in the Rock Hill market through the various CRM tools utilized by Blanchard Machinery.
  • Communicate and engage across service, parts, rental and more to foster a collaborative climate driving BMC engagement with customer base.
  • Complete required compliance training including equipment safety, sales, negotiation training, soft skills development etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customers and service to communicate needs and operational issues encountered in daily sales operations and to recommend solutions.
  • Leverage market insights to build go to market strategies that incorporate Blanchard’s entire portfolio to best serve customers, ensure a premium experience and drive customer loyalty.
  • Work to collaborate with various BMC entities through contract negotiation process for key accounts on pricing and concessions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Grow adoption of additional services to help support our customers with their machines in the field.
  • Achieve budget both in machine sales and expenses.
  • Grow used and rental opportunities alongside your peers in the market.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, required; bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Business, etc)
  • 3-5 years of customer facing experience (needed); 2+ of years of outside sales preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required and experience using sales funnel management tools preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic perspective on to go to market differently to address the changing needs in our market.
  • Ability to work independently while planning and documenting your day to be efficient and effective in growing engagement with customers in the Rock Hill market.
  • Skilled at leveraging a CRM system.
  • Committed to Continuous Improvement.
  • Proven ability to navigate change in a productive manner utilizing sound technical skills.


Working Conditions:


  • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside throughout the year.
  • Heavy business travel required.
  • Position requires employee to be physically present at job site location.
  • Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
  • Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.
