JOB DESCRIPTION:

Integrity Business Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO). The Facility Security Officer (FSO) interprets, implements, and maintains a highly-effective security program consistent with all regulatory, government policies and provides supplemental guidance to the business and its leaders. The FSO is responsible for all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), both physical and non-tangible, protecting classified information and company assets. The FSO sees the overall security program as a business discriminator to the organization and the Corporation. The FSO objectively and professionally conduct investigations regarding sensitive issues and violations of written policies internal and external to the organization. FSO will issue disciplinary guidance based on the graduated scale of disciplinary action as required by the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).

The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for:

  • Accessing required Government facilities and systems, to process linguist candidates and management personnel through any required Government security vetting procedures, to include assembling, verifying and submitting required documentation to facilitate review for facility and system access.
  • Support all required Government security vetting procedures to maintain all required facility and system access.
  • Verify clearances using clearance validation applications; JPAS, ACAVS or Scatter Castle to verify clearance level/access.
  • Review SF-86s and submit security packets.
  • Initiate Personnel Security Clearance investigations and Periodic Reinvestigations (PR).
  • Track employee and candidate security schedule.
  • Prepare, maintain and protect official records auditable by U.S. Government representatives.
  • Maintain, audit and evaluate industrial security program to provide a safe and secure environment to protect employees and company assets.
  • Manage access of support vendors, consultants, and contactors to the facility.
  • Interpret and administer existing policies and develop, document, implement, and communicate revisions to existing policies or new policies, processes, and procedures.


Preferred Skills:


MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Mastery of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Experience using JPAS.
  • Completion of all Defense Security Service FSO training requirements - Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification is a plus.
  • Current experience working with government information systems of record and a general understanding of personnel security investigation requirements is required.
  • Integrity and a professional manner are required.
  • Possess a high degree of organizational and communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to work independently and irregular hours, as required.
  • Must partner with functional organizations and possess the ability to solve complex challenges independently in compliance with written and verbal guidance from both internal and external Customers as appropriate meeting business objectives.
  • Ability to objectively and professionally conduct investigations regarding sensitive issues and violations of written policies; issue disciplinary guidance as needed.
  • Must have the communication skills to effectively interface with NSA Security officials to track linguist applications.
  • Must have the capacity to apply applicable regulations, guidance, and security vetting processes.
