Rosco Vision Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team! The Field Service Technician will be responsible to look after the service and maintenance needs of our customers. This individual will be required to travel to client locations, install new equipment, respond to service requests and troubleshoot equipment issues. The ideal candidate should have excellent troubleshooting skills and plenty of field experience. Providing high-quality service should be the number one priority.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Responding to customer callouts and field dispatches
• Meeting with the customer to determine the nature of the service or repair
• Conducting routine equipment servicing out in the field
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment failures
• Repairing equipment and replacing faulty parts
• Installing and testing new equipment
• Providing preventative equipment
• Providing technical training on new equipment installations
• Maintaining equipment stock in the company vehicle

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION

• High School Diploma, required,
• 3 years' experience in 12 Volt installations
• Proven work experience as a field service technician, including knowledge of vehicle alarm, remote start installation and automotive audio video installations
• Alarm/Remote start installation experience
• MECP Certified, a plus
• Able to remove vehicle panels on truck, buses, and passenger vehicles
• Ability to travel 40-50%
• Ability to problem-solve
• Has personal tools used for vehicle installations (Specialty tools will be provided)
• Willing to learn new technology and products
