Position: Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst position will serve as a direct financial partner to the operational teams. The position will be responsible for reviewing a variety of financial data to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives, and drive positive change. This position will also have an active role in the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes. The position will report to a Finance Manager in the Operations Finance department. Crash Champions has an outstanding culture and work environment, this highly visible role allows this position to play a critical role in improving the overall business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide day-to-day support to locations and operational teams
  • Prepare, review and distribute financial reports, including sales, gross margin, and P&L reports
  • Review expenses and revenues vs. budget, forecast and analyze variances / fluctuations
  • Assist in the annual budget & forecast process
  • Assist in the creation and publication of KPIs that are timely and insightful in order to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
  • Review and analyze large volumes of data with the ability to produce findings that are easy to understand
  • Develop, maintain and distribute as-hoc reports and financial models as needed
  • Build and foster relationships throughout the organization, creating an environment of collaboration
  • Assist in process implementation and tracking, lead/project manage initiatives from a financial perspective

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3 or more years of experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel)
  • FP&A analytical skills preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to complete duties with limited direct supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Financial systems experience preferred, Oracle, Essbase a plus
  • Ability to work with a team as well as on one’s own
  • Ability to transform raw data into clear and actionable finding
