Fire Alarm Technician Job at Copper River Family of Companies
Coho Technology Solutions is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team and assist with inspection, testing and maintenance of on specific fire protection system or subsystems for a project in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Maintain, program, troubleshoot and repair fire alarm and fire suppression systems in compliance with NFPA 72 and UFC 3-601-02.

Interpreting and applying National Electric Code, Uniform Facilities Criteria, local, state and federal codes, blueprints, wire diagrams, schematics and drawings.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Experience:
- 2 or more (2+) years as a Fire Alarm or Electrical Technician
- Background: Must be able to pass a government background to obtain a DBIDS base access badge
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Background: Must be able to pass a government background to obtain a DBIDS base access badge
- Knowledge of installation, operation, programming and maintenance of fire alarm reporting system
- Must have the skillsets to calculate common properties such as voltage, voltage drops and current capability in both series and parallel
- Need to have the ability to use hand tools and specialized test equipment.
Pay Rate: $26.28 per hour
