Forest Highlands is looking for a Season F&B Expeditor for our 2023 Season Beginning May 1.

As a Food and Beverage Expeditor you will set the pace and flow of the kitchen to ensure that all dishes are properly prepared and served at the correct temperatures. As well you be responsible for the members and their guests receiving their food all at that same time.

Some of the other tasks included in this position are:

• Ensuring communication in the kitchen by calling out orders, getting the status on dishes, and getting the waitstaff to serve completed dishes.
• Informing the wait staff when certain dishes or ingredients have been depleted and communicating special food requests from the wait staff to the kitchen staff.
• Monitoring the food portions on completed dishes according to the Forest Highlands standard.
• Keeping the cooking, storage, and prep areas clean, neat and well-stocked
• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements Desired:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good understanding of restaurant health and safety regulations.
• Food handling certification may be required.
• Relevant restaurant experience may be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Great customer service skills.
• Ability to handle a high-pressure, fast-paced, and stressful environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, assist where needed, and carry heavy trays.
