Bargaining Unit/Salary Level:
$16.50 per hour. No benefits and no expectation the position will continue past May 31, 2023.
Responsibilities:
Washington County Community College has an immediate opening for a Food Service Assistant. This person will assist in the operation of the snack bar for the Spring 2022 academic semester. Hours are 11a.m. to 6:30p.m. Monday through Thursday (30 hours). Duties will include taking food orders, collecting payment, preparing, and serving food orders. Washing, cleaning, and maintaining utensils, equipment, and cafeteria in order to maintain established sanitation and food handling standards, providing courteous and efficient service. Individual must be dependable, be able maintain personal hygiene, be able to lift over 50 pounds, be able to respond appropriately to customer needs, and be able to endure high heat and standing for long hours. Experience in short order cooking preferred.
