Housing and Services, Inc. (HSI) is a not-for-profit that has been serving special need populations for over 33 years. Our mission is to end the cycle of homelessness permanently by providing safe, nurturing, and empowering environments with high quality on-site services aimed at the root causes that culminated in displacement originally.
HSI is looking for a part-time, front desk clerk to perform a range of duties including answering phone calls, supporting residents, and staff in our supportive housing facilities.
Responsibilities:
Greeting tenants: The front desk clerk should greet tenants and visitors in a friendly and professional manner and be responsible for verifying guest information.
Providing administrative support: The front desk clerk is responsible for answering phones, keep record of all activity engaged in the building clearly and articulately in log books, and prepare incident reports for all accidents, incidents, illegal, illicit activities and/or damage.
Ensuring safety and security: The front desk clerk should be aware of safety and security protocols and be able to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar role.
- Candidate must be able to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear concise manner.
- The candidate must have a high degree of personal and professional integrity and a willingness to follow up on assignments and instructions.
Fire Guard License a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
