We’re looking for a Front-End professional to help create smart solutions for clients like the ASPCA, International Rescue Committee, and the Drug Policy Alliance.

Responsibilities

As part of the Jackson River team, your work may vary based on your own strengths and the current needs of our clients. It may include:

  • Developing custom functionality from specifications for existing client websites
  • Managing deployment of new features through testing and production environments
  • Troubleshooting existing bugs, applying security patches, and testing the work of yourself and others
  • Collaborating with project managers to design and estimate custom solutions
  • Contribute bug fixes and new features to Jackson River’s fundraising platform, Springboard
  • Collaborating with other developers to build custom, responsive themes utilizing HTML, SCSS/CSS, grunt, and jQuery
  • Customizing elements in Drupal utilizing custom preprocess functions, theming functions, and view modes
  • Creating website graphics from mockups in Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Creation of custom HTML templates for third-party services and email marketing
  • Front-end integration for new features in existing sites
  • Adapting existing themes to responsive layouts
  • Thorough testing of front-end features for compatibility across many browsers and devices
  • Assessment of design mockups and front-end features to estimate project budgets

Requirements :

  • 2+ years working with Drupal
  • Experience translating wireframes or design comps into Drupal-specific features
  • Working knowledge of Git, GitHub, and GitLab
  • Familiarity with Drush and knowledge of how to use it effectively
  • Strong HTML/CSS/JS skills
  • Experience using CSS preprocessors and grid frameworks including SCSS and Bootstrap
  • Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities without sacrificing quality of work
  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and adapt to a wide range of tasks throughout the day.
  • Ability to wrangle Drupal's theme layer (template files and preprocessor functions)
  • Experience with Email Service Providers, email marketing and HTML email coding
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and other CRM platforms
  • Extensive site-building experience in Drupal and experience working with common contribution modules including Views, Context, Panels, Webform, and more
  • Experience in custom module development, implementing Drupal hooks, and theming custom elements

Salary Range

US Remote: $ 70,000- $75,000 USD per year

Pay: $64,218.19 - $75,000.00 per year
