Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant is providing one on one patient care in an affiliated hospital, or community nursing facility in Washington, DC. Provides personal care and perform basic varied duties such as cooking, light housekeeping, shopping/running errands. These activities are performed in accordance with a written assignment and under the RN supervision.Administers health and personal care to patients as ordered on the Home Care Aide Plan of Care. Takes and records oral, rectal, and auxiliary temperature, pulse, and respiration as ordered. Provides personal care, including bath, shower, shampoo, shave hair grooming, massage, foot and perineal care. Assists in preparing normal diets and feeding patient when appropriate. Changes patient's linens and launders clothes as order. Assists patients with bedpans, urinals catheter bags, and ostomy bags. Transfers patient from bed to chair, chair to bed, etc. if needed. Performs other duties as assigned by the Field Staff Supervisor.

Qualifications:
Current CNA & GNA certification licensed in DC with The Department Of Health
Active CPR card;

Work Experience:
At least 6 months experience as a nurse's aide in a hospital or nursing home required.
Six (6) months experience as certified nursing assistant or Home Health Aide preferred.

Shifts can vary based on patient needs
