Manager Qualifications - A great manager believes in the therapeutic benefits of Massage Therapy, and has the following:

  • Experience in management including but not limited to experience as a sales manager, operations manager, and/or general manager.
  • Has excellent leadership skills; ability to lead a team in an organized and efficient way ensuring operations runs smoothly.
  • Implement structure, policies, and procedures.
  • Consistently creating a friendly environment for both team members and clients.
  • Customer Service oriented; able to meet or exceed Sales Goals
  • Ability to identify and problem solve, set expectation, goals, and delegate
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence
  • Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver with strong project management skills
  • Must be able to work flexible days and hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays: Nights & weekends are a must: 40+ hours available
  • Competent trainer and motivator
  • MindBody Software experience a plus
  • Experience in the Wellness or Spa industry is a plus
  • Competent with hiring team members and service providers
Responsibilities Include:
Building, motivating and leading our team that genuinely cares about the health and wellness of every client. Ability to effectively communicate with both the front desk and massage therapist teams. Light cleaning is required along with the maintenance of our equipment and supplies. We are a service based only business with no product inventory. Our sales to clients include Wellness Programs, Massage Therapy sessions and enhancements, and Gift Cards.
Please note this position is W-2, employee at will, non-exempt. We are a non-smoking facility which includes the use of electronic cigarettes.
