Position

Government Property Administrator

  • Location: Churchville, MD
  • Security Clearance: Active Clearance or Eligible to Obtain - U.S. citizenship required
  • Salary: 70,000 - 90,000
  • Travel: Up to 10%

Position Summary

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Government Property Administrator to support our Government Compliance Department. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Asset management and control, including receiving, tracking, shipping, and disposition.
  • Inventory control and planning.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Property Administrator, Accounting Manager, and Contracts Manager to reconcile both Government and Company property records, perform audits, maintain databases, and track assets.
  • May perform other office administration roles as well, including but not limited to purchasing support, tracking employee schedules, updating/reviewing monthly reports, preparing assets for and coordinating shipping, and working with vendors for facility maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Must be experienced with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other office-administration software tools.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Must have experience with asset management, including inventorying, auditing, and receiving.
  • Familiarity with Government asset transfer and movement mechanisms a plus (DD250, DD1149, SF1428, etc.)
  • Experience with asset management system such as AssetWorks or A2B Tracking preferred.
  • Experience with Government Property tools and information systems is desired (e.g., PCARRS, PIEE, WAWF, eTools, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
