The Groundskeepers will support our mission by proactively maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests at Belmont Park.

What will you do:

• Prepare mini whale/cart for the shift with trash bags, gloves, broom dustpan, etc.
• Cleaning and restocking the restrooms.
• Emptying/cleaning out trash and bins throughout the park, office space, and restaurants depending on your assigned area for the day.
• Operate the trash compactor and cardboard baler with proper training.
• Sweep the park of trash and debris.
• Quickly respond to food, liquid, and hazardous spills.
• Assist guests with information about the park in a positive and friendly manner.
• At times may be assigned a unique project for the day.
• Will carry a radio and respond promptly to any call that may require attention in your area (food, liquid spills, ice cream spills, etc.)
• Responsible for returning assigned keys at the end of the shift
• Will need to use gloves and learn Belmont Parks safety protocol

What are the requirements?

• Able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• May work early mornings, as early as 6:00 am and as late at 1:00 am.
• Will carry a radio and must be willing to conform to company policies and grooming standards.
• Able to stand/walk up to eight hours at a time
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to move equipment which would include pushing, pulling, stooping and shoving.
• Able to work outdoors.
• Able to work in a noisy environment.
• Must have bi-manual dexterity.
