Job Summary:

Do you like working with people? Have you ever worked in retail? Habitat South Sarasota ReStore is looking for an organized, friendly person to join our crew as we work to reuse, recycle, and ReStore to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building affordable housing.

Key Qualifications:

· Integrity, credibility, commitment to Habitat’s mission

· Management, customer service, and sales-related experience

· Prior work experience required, preferably retail and/or business experience

· Computer skills including Microsoft Office & Point of Sale (POS) operating system

· Provide customer service-oriented decision-making in a professional manner

· Physical ability to complete work on the job site or in the store/warehouse, even during inclement weather

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide support to the ReStore Manager in the management of day-to-day store operations

· Maintain high levels of customer and donor service

· Maximize store profits based on budgets

· Maintain a clean, neat, and safe store

· Maintain open communication with Manager and store team on essential and critical daily operations

· Oversee & ensure that volunteers are actively engaged and have a positive experience

· Ensure that all team members are aware of and operate by the safety policies and procedures for the retail environment and transportation activities that look out for the welfare of our customers and donors.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.

· Flexibility and responsiveness in quick-paced environment.

· Attention to detail and quality control.

· Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Education and Experience:

· Previous customer service experience preferred.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of physical activity.

· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

· Starting at $39,000 per year

· Work Schedule: 5 days a week, Saturdays required
