The HCPF Lead Specialist will manage job duties within the Economic Security Unit specific to Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) policy changes and end of Public Health Emergency Medicaid Renewals. This position will determine eligibility, provide referrals, education to clients, and training to case managers following County, State and Federal standards of practice. The position will also serve as a key liaison to the Director of Human Services regarding all HCPF incentives, quality assurance, evaluations, and incentives.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of HCPF programs and the Public Health Emergency, the Colorado Case Benefits Management System. Also necessary is the ability to self-motivate and to work independently. Two year’s clerical, and written and verbal communication experience preferred. Ability to train information and policy change essential to effective and efficient case management.
