Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Gpac has partnered with an industry leader experiencing strong growth. This company has been in business over 50-years is and looking for a top talent Mechanic!
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair needs
- Read and interpret technical drawings/schematics
- Perform routine Preventative Maintenance on fuels, fluids, lubrication, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, air, and water systems
- Complete Inspection Checklists on equipment
- Follow all company and industry regulations and rules
- Occasional field service - travel to repair the industrial truck
Experience & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years' experience as a mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, diesel mechanic or technician
- Experience with medium and/or heavy equipment, industrial trucks, diesel
- Must have a current Driver's License with a clean driving record
- TWIC card (or the ability to obtain)
- CDL (or the ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, or bend all day
