Host/Hostess Job at Army Navy Country Club
Position Title: Host Department: Food and Beverage Reports to: F&B Supervisor

POSITION PURPOSE
The host is the first impression of the restaurant and must greet diners in a friendly manner. The host is responsible for efficiently and effectively seating members and being an ambassador for the club.
Essential Functions
- Efficiently seat members according to floor plan
- Greet members upon entering dining areas
- Communicate with staff and managers about member requests
- Answer phone in a polite and professional manner
- Ensure cleanliness of area
- Take to go orders
- Knowledgeable about club events and functions
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
No experience required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
General availability:
Wednesday-Saturday 10am-10pm
Sunday 7am-10pm
This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)
