Houseparent/ Therapeutic Child Care Aide Job at PINELAND BH/DD CSB

Under general supervision performs work of routine difficulty in planning/conducting child development activities. Monitor residents and or their dependent children in a residential/home life environment. Monitors both residents and their independent children (if applicable), for safety on an ongoing basis. Observes, monitors, document and reports resident behavior/progress on an ongoing basis. Trains and assists residents in basic home maintenance skills, basic parenting skills, interpersonal development, and money management. Maintains a clean, healthy and safe environment. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of Addictive Diseases, Child Care Safety and Maintenance. Provides suppport service to the TCC program.
Minimum Qualifications: be at least 21 years of age, possess a Georgia Driver's license with no suspension in the past 5 years and have obtained Highshchool Diploma or GED.
