Given how much we are growing, we have created a new leadership position within the human resources team and seek an HR Business Partner. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources.


Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will provide support to our field leadership team and their district portfolios located in-as an organization, we currently provide programs in 17 states across the country. This position will play a critical role in supporting strategic priorities and operational functions in areas such as performance management, succession planning, employee relations, talent management, engagement, culture, and workforce planning. Additionally, the HRBP will be instrumental in implementing new and impactful HR programs, policies, and processes that embrace diversity, foster inclusion, and promote equity throughout Right at School and will play a critical role in developing other HR professionals.

As an HR Business Partner, you will -

  • Partner with field leadership to develop talent strategies that are aligned to business priorities.
  • Build relationships across functions to gain an understanding of business priorities and objectives.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement programs to promote employee engagement, retention, and diversity.
  • Give guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations resolutions including coaching, researching/investigating situations, and recommending business-driven, proactive, and inclusive solutions.
  • Be an active thought partner with our Talent Acquisitions Business Partners to assure alignment and prioritization of all HR initiatives.
  • Partner with the Training and Development team to identify development opportunities across the assigned district portfolios.
  • Drive performance and career development through comprehensive talent assessment, succession planning, and learning/development plans.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership, along with key business leaders, to support and drive the RAS cultural, engagement, and organizational changes.
  • Be a champion for our workplace culture and collaborate around employee engagement, employee experience, and employment brand.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Focus on managerial effectiveness for business leaders through coaching, consultative support, business metrics, and technical HR knowledge sharing.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in order to increase organizational, team, and individual performance.
  • Lead change management efforts through business changes such as acquisitions, organizational growth, systems implementations, and process/policy enhancements.
  • Partner with HR leadership to recommend, research, and implement new approaches, policies, procedures, and tools with a focus on scalability.
  • Partner with HR leadership to develop and support our team of HR professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • HR Certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in managing key HR processes, including but not limited to performance management, talent management, employee relations, compensation, and general HR practices is required.
  • Experience/knowledge of California employment laws and processes preferred
  • Experience working in a strategic HRBP capacity in a fast-paced multi-site environment.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and serve as a trusted advisor and change agent.
  • Proven strategic agility and thinking can initiate and operationalize HR strategies linked to the overall business strategy.
  • Broad Human Resources expertise including organizational behavior, change management, business planning, policy implementation, and communication.
  • Ability to build partnerships with leaders at all levels, excellent customer focus.
