Job Summary:

Are you looking for a fresh start and a new HR role in 2023, primarily remote work? The greatest HR Talent Acquisition team is hiring an HR Coordinator to join our VUMC HR family, supporting several high-level recruitment tasks and initiatives. This role will assist with many exciting recruitment operational functions. This role reports to the Talent Operations Manager and will need to possess multi-tasking ability. This role is primarily remote, working in a faced paced environment. You will be responsible date entry, tracking, reporting, and summarizing data to be used in analyzing the needs of customers and responding to requests.

Shift: Day shift; Hybrid remote; position will work remote 95% of the time. This will be a flex schedule; with up to 8 hours weekly spent at our main campus office in Nashville, TN, and other optional opportunities to attend events.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with the evaluation, assessment and triage of customers' HR Talent needs in person, over the phone or via email.
  • Gathers information and/or documentation to understand the needs, expectations and identifies HR Talent issues and concerns.
  • Provides accurate and timely information to leaders and SDT regarding the appropriate application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintains data and information systems used in the analysis of human resource needs and issues. Ensures accurate, complete and timely availability of data.
  • Works on special projects as assigned.
  • Assists in the development and delivery of communications and training programs to customers.
  • Participates in the review and analysis of HR processes and procedures.
  • Makes recommendations for process improvements and systems enhancements to better address customer needs and improve customer service.

Position Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and 5 years relevant experience

  • Physical Requirements/Strengths needed & Physical Demands:
