Job Description
The main function of this position is to operate the flour mill.
Job Duties
RICELAND
To produce the finest grind of flour possible by making adjustment as necessary; to clean magnets; to check hammermill screens; to monitor all equipment; to perform preventive maintenance; to take a sample each hour, analyze and record the results; to aid in sanitation; to be able to bulk load if needed; to complete all paperwork assigned; to perform any other work as assigned by supervisor; to wear personal protection equipment; to work safely.
Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures. Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor. Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training.
