Human Resources Generalist Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources Administration.
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and the ability to learn other programs specific to human resource duties.
  • Full time availability.

Human Resources Generalist Duties:
  • Develops attendee list and coordinates new hire orientations, CPR/First Aid training, Positive Behavior; and all other trainings as required; maintains all sign-in sheets.
  • Maintain current knowledge of and be able to interpret and explain State and Federal Human Resources laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Function as liaison between management and staff at all CHC offices and locations and the Human Resources Team.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of training compliance data base to determine for whom and by when required training must be completed, including assisting operations with successful attendance and completion, including providing ongoing notification to operations of compliance metrics for training.
  • Assists in conducting routine periodic audits of employee files to ensure 100% compliance with all federal and state requirements.
  • Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs.
  • Prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations.
  • Study legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.
  • Develop or administer special projects in areas such as pay equity, savings bond programs, day-care, and employee awards.
  • Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs.
  • Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
