We are hiring an HR (Human Resources) Generalist to join our corporate team and implement various human resources programs. All positions at our Corporate Headquarters in the beautiful area of Hyde Park in Tampa, FL are fully on-site.

HR Generalists have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. If you have a passion for HR, are familiar with labor law and look to kickstart your career in the field, this is the place to be. Your role as an HR Generalist will be fun and your will have the opportunity to work with locations in over 37 states.

You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, including participating in trainings, supporting employees as they select their benefits and leaves and helping with employee appreciation events. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Administer compensation and benefit plans.
  • Management of Unemployment Insurance Programs.
  • Help organize training & development initiatives.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Provide input to the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Complete special projects by clarifying project objectives, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing, and organizing information, and fulfilling transactions.
  • Support the Annual Enrollment for Benefits

Desired Skills

  • Proven experience as an HR Coordinator, Assistant or Generalist
  • Familiarity with Paycom, ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS systems
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and creating win/wins
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • Additional HR training will be a plus
  • Multi-state experience is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment. (i.e., discrimination and harassment, wage and hours, etc.)

Pay: $40,140.94 - $60,000.00 per year
