Summary:

The successful Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overall strategic administration and evaluation of the human resources function including recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and human resources information systems. Comfortable being self sufficient in all aspect of HR.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

· Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.

· Serve as a link between management and employee by handling questions and helping to resolve work-related problems.

· Identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for employees by working with brokers and researching benefits issues.

· Develop or implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.

· Hire employees and oversee the hiring and on-boarding process.

· Maintain responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.

· Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

· Represent organization at employment-related hearings and investigations.

· Consult with legal counsel as appropriate on employment matters.

· Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.

· Prepare detailed job descriptions and define job levels, in partnership with other managers.

· Develop and maintain a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) that meets the organization’s needs.

· All other human resources related functions as needed.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business, or related area.
• 5 years of Human Resource Management with generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ADP experience preferred.
• Stable employment history with small - medium businesses and successful career progression over time.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, hiring and employee relations, and safety. Ability to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.
• Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification a plus.

Must complete a pre-employment drug test and a background check.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
