Overview:
The Financial Access Representative supporting Radiology is responsible for all registration and financially related data collection prior to a patient arriving at the facility or after arrival at the facility depending on your role in the department. They must maintain a thorough knowledge of all insurance requirements to ensure precertification, referral and authorization is obtained from contracted payers.

Work from home is an option for this position
after an in person training period (in person training period is for a TBD period of time)
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in customer service preferred
  • Patient Access experience preferred
  • Must possess skills in basic computer knowledge
  • Must be able to perform routine clerical tasks, copiers, scanners etc
  • Must be able to accurately type 30 WPM
  • Must be able to work calmly and effectively in a fast paced, hectic and at times hostile environment
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Must have personal integrity and the ability to function effectively as a team
