Job Description
Title: Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Based at: Cedar Hill, Texas
Job purpose: At MJB, we have combined people, products and technologies to offer the most innovative wood products solutions available in the market today. This position is responsible for maintenance of the industrial equipment.
Minimum requirements: MJB Wood Group is seeking Maintenance Technician with minimum 2 years of experience with maintenance on industrial equipment. Candidate should have in-depth knowledge in milling/machining. Minimum 2 years of experience in welding/fabricating preferred.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning industrial equipment & machinery
- Maintain the proper operation of industrial equipment & machinery through preventative maintenance procedures.
- Perform some building/facility maintenance
- Clean & maintain Maintenance shop, work areas & maintenance tools/equipment
- Maintain accurate PM logs & Time Schedules
