Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: 1770 Worldwide Boulevard, Hebron KY 41048

Shift: Mon-Fri: 11:00p - 7:00a, some on call and OT required

Pay Range: $26.42 - $34.06 dependent on experience

Job Summary: WestRock Hebron is seeking a skilled Multicraft Maintenance Technician to perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems. The position requires experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems, a strong working knowledge of PLC and motor controls, and the ability to work from schematics and blue prints. In addition to strong computer skills, the position requires solid organizational and communication skills and the ability to support plant operations, including machine controls, set up, trouble shooting. We are seeking a technician experienced in troubleshooting with a preventative and predictive mindset.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation, Repair & Troubleshooting Experience
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred
• An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems
• A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• A strong PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability
• Practical mechanical & electrical aptitude
• Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings
• Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner
• Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week
