Summary of Role:


Provide support to end users on a variety of issues as well as manage specific local Health & Medical site systems and services. Role will research, develop, troubleshoot, and coordinate with the local business as well as Enterprise Information System team to provide solutions and support for local systems and software. In addition, document, track and monitor to ensure a timely resolution. Support scope is business software and systems not directly supported by Trelleborg Group IT or the Enterprise Information Systems team.


Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with Trelleborg IT resources to ensure systems are implemented in a manner consistent with Trelleborg IT standards
  • Set up and troubleshoot
    • Workstations
    • Peripheral devices
    • LAN/WLAN issues
    • Various software
  • Install and configure H&M business software
  • Maintain and Update local sites CAD software and systems.
  • Monitor the helpdesk ticket queue and respond to requests in a timely fashion, logging both the ticket and the resolution
  • Research questions using available information resources, then advise user on appropriate action
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Create documentation for common processes, solutions, and troubleshooting steps
  • Work with other IT team members to perform network upgrades, improvements or maintenance
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Provide first-contact phone and email support

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Must have 1 to 3 years previous experience in similar role
  • Working knowledge of operating systems like Windows, OSX, Linux, and android
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems, Microsoft software suites, Dell computer hardware
  • Understanding of the topics IoT, cloud computing, security, DNS, DHCP, IP, LAN/WLAN/WAN
  • Must be highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically with excel

Competences:


  • Good verbal/conversational and written communication skills in English combined with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Communication skills in other languages are an added advantage
  • High level of customer focus and strong customer support commitment.
  • Ability in working in a culturally diversified fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to cooperate with technology teams, operations teams, managements and end users
