The Inside sales team plays a key role in in optimizing the efficiency and territory coverage for the CTS business. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, establishing and following up on the implementation of best practices within the Inside Sales Team while promoting a highly collaborative environment with field sales and operations teams.


Your ability to think and implement processes to guarantee that your team effectively prospects, conducts a proactive sales process, quotes in line with customers’ needs and follows up every opportunity will be essential for your success in this role. This position will require you to be highly focused on people and processes, while developing cross-functional collaboration and alignment with other managers both in service and equipment sales.


With your team, you will be responsible for the growth of the Spare Part business, Fixed Price Services, as well as Guardian Plans for the territory. Ensuring your team connects to the field sales teams and remains aligned at an account level, is one of the fundamental aspects of achieving success.


We expect this person to be willing to explore different views of the world, new customer and management paradigms and trends, and to challenge the status quo, looking for innovative solutions for an ever-changing market scenario.


Main responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the inside and parts sales team

  • Ensure that the necessary process and best practices are implemented and followed up

  • Identify, suggest and implement process improvements and best practices

  • Monitor and drive activity levels that will lead to the established vision of success for the business

  • Follow up the performance of team members while working on their competence development

  • Collaborate with operations to best handle inbound and outbound requests, driving a hassle-free experience for our customers

  • Optimize and find efficiencies on the call flow to ensure all calls are captured and handled in a timely manner

  • Identify competence gaps, plan and implement training plans and conduct performance evaluations

  • Develop in-depth knowledge and usage of business tools, such as Salesforce.com, iQ2, BPCS, among others, to assist your team in learning and gathering necessary customer information for a successful sale

  • Ensure that accounts receivable issues are getting addressed proactively and that all necessary paperwork, such as terms and conditions, are properly in place during a sales process

  • Assist in the up-keep of the installed base information and customers records in both BPCS and the CRM system

  • Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams

  • Other duties related to the strategic and operational development of the CTS business.

  • Actively contribute to team efforts, meetings and discussions.


Mission

Develop the CTS business, driving market share (1-1 ratio) and customer penetration (customer share) by effectively managing and developing the inside sales team.


Experience Requirements

Experience in the service business with people management and in prospecting and conducting sales over the phone would be an advantage for the applicant.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver messages to stakeholders at different levels inside and outside of the organization.

Education requirements

A bachelor’s degree is desirable, in either management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization. Relevant related experience will be considered.
