Inside Sales Representative Position Overview:


The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for assisting the sales team and managing house accounts in line with these key competencies:
  • Customer Service - Ensure that we meet the needs of our customers and exceed their expectations.
  • Communication - Maintain open and clear lines of communication between our sales, production and logistics teams and our customers.
  • Timeliness - Ensure that our sales process moves quickly from sale to delivery.


Responsibilities:

Customer Service
  • Build relationships with our customers
  • Go the extra mile to meet the needs of our customers
  • Be proactive dealing with any issues pertaining to our customers
Communication
  • Always maintain a polite and professional demeanor
  • Take customer calls, orders and complaints or issues
  • Follow up with customers, with the focus of growing and keeping current business
Timeliness
  • Manage the flow of paperwork from when an order is taken to delivery, invoicing and payment
  • Coordinate with the sales, production and logistics teams on getting orders fulfilled in a timely manner
Other
  • Assist the sales team in general account management
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:


  • Driven, goal-oriented, team player
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Able to use and learn new business applications (Google Drive, Excel and other Microsoft Office apps, etc.)
  • Ability to apply math skills to business and manufacturing
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred but not required
