The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join its Wholesale Lending Credit Risk (WLCR) data team. ICM has been established with the objective to provide an integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management and monitoring for the wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise. The WLCR Wholesale Lending data team within ICM is responsible for monitoring and resolving Wholesale Lending data quality issues, for owning data remediation efforts of known issues, and for owning 1st Line data quality reporting and detection.

Responsibilities:

  • Build subject matter expertise on Citi’s wholesale lending products and data architecture
  • Assist the team in measuring operating standards and KPIs/metrics for the Data Quality program
  • Perform analytical assessments of data quality concerns within credit risk systems which include multiple layers of enrichments and coded logic
  • Support downstream consumption plans with back-office technology partners to ensure completeness and consistency throughout data flows
  • Act as a change agent to implement best practices and ensure transparency and consistency across teams.
  • Prepare impact assessments of data quality issues and track the progress of systemic solutioning
  • Assist the team in the implementation of data quality measurement methodologies and controls within the WLCR infrastructure

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with wholesale lending products and credit risk concepts
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.
  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical, and conceptual thinker
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Cognos, Tableau, and other data tools/technologies

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
