Overview:

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and evaluating training to improve organizational effectiveness using a variety of training tools and techniques. This position will create innovative training solutions that address the organizational performance and learning needs of MINT Dentistry. This includes the onboarding training program for all new hires, skill enhancement/improvements courses to drive continuous education and learning, system/technical training, and management fundamentals. This role will require a creative and innovative designer with strong project management skills and the ability to develop training content that meets the needs of MINT dentistry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Responsibilities:
  • Performing needs analysis, suggesting instructional approaches, estimating timelines and resources needed
  • Designing innovative courses using adult learning principles and integrating interactive concepts and activities in both instructor-led and distance formats
  • Ensuring training deliverables and applications are developed with high quality, within efficient timelines and improve the user experience.
  • Illustrating and conceptualizing concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style.
  • Identifying training requirements by collaborating with the training team, subject matter experts, managers, and employees.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Art Director to ensure all design projects meet MINT's brand standards.

Qualifications:
  • Certification in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Technical Communications or higher in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. In lieu of a degree, relevant work experience is required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience using rapid development tools such as: Articulate Studio, Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia and Adobe Creative Cloud application required.
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience designing and developing training curriculum with one (1) to three (3) years of graphic design experience, preferred.
  • Certification in Adobe eLearning Suite or equivalent instructional design tool, preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, Technical Communications, Fine Arts or higher in a related field, preferred.
  • Consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to build strong relationships internally and externally across all lines of business; ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to be unfazed by ambiguity and comfortable in environments with shifting priorities.
  • Digital marketing background in website content, digital analytics, or graphic design experience, preferred.
