Roxbury Hospital & Treatment Center is a private, 112-bed detoxification/rehabilitation and psychiatric hospital located at the foothills of the scenic Blue Mountains in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. In our 60-bed chemical dependency unit, detoxification is conducted under close medical supervision. Roxbury also has 52 psychiatric beds on two units - one unit for adults and separate unit for adolescents treating individuals with mental illnesses who need short-term hospitalization. We have been providing dedicated mental health care since 1984, and Shippensburg provides a healthy and expansive location to live, work and play.

Roxbury is currently hiring a Full-time Intake Counselor for overnight weekday shifts. The Intake Counselor provides telephonic and in-person assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines the appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process, and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit

Master’s Degree highly preferred from an accredited college in Psychology or another related field: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field required OR licensed nurse with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment required. Prior experience in behavioral healthcare/admissions preferred.
