A Connecticut Hospital is looking for an Interim OR Manager to join their team

The Position

• The Interim OR Manager will be responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations for a 12-bed main OR unit and five bed surgery center unit within a Level I and II Trauma Center.
• Reporting to the Vice President of Nursing, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 100 FTEs.
• This leader will partner will staff and physicians to improve turnaround times, increase on-time starts, improve efficiencies, and create a culture of sustainability. They will also work to mentor/coach new staff and identify growth opportunities for future leaders.
• The ideal candidate will be a steadfast, and firm leader, but also be diplomatic and kind. Must be a subject matter expert in all things surgical. Must be confident, engaging, and positive.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. Active RN required.
