The Automation Solutions Specialist creates scalable and efficient process automation and reusable components that can be leveraged across different lines of businesses and quality assurance and controls if needed. The Automation Solutions Specialist works on company processes to develop and implement process improvement recommendations to satisfy business unit functions while maintaining a vision for future needs.

• Conducts research and analysis throughout the organization to understand workflows, processes, data collection, reporting needs and other technical issues associated with business processes and application software
• Automates routine processes using no-code'low-code development technologies that leverage Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Writes business requirements, change requests, test plans, and training documentation
• Develops and manages IT Infrastructure stories into DevOps
• Documents accurately all IT stories, meetings and scenarios as needed
• Ensures IT Infrastructure story accuracy and clarity (Acceptance criteria, story match design docs, right artifacts attached)
• Tracks 3rd party versioning and new features
• Schedules all Ad Hoc Meetings within IT department and takes all meeting notes
• Creates IT Infrastructure documentation (Tech docs, Knowledge Base, Deploy and Test plans)
• Performs manual post maintenance window testing
• Serves as business liaison between Operations and the Technical teams, communicating with the Infrastructure staff, subject matter experts (SME’s) and the business process owners to answer any questions that arise during the development and testing of an automated solution
• Prioritizes needs while handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent related work experience

• 2+ years of experience with low code/no code (LC/NC) development
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Microsoft 365, including SharePoint
• Two to five years of experience with business processes, project management and process improvement techniques
• Experience as a technical analyst
• Strong knowledge of the scrum framework as well as other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Crystal, XP, etc.
• Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Excel, Word, Visio
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects concurrently
• Proactive approach to take initiative with little direction at times and the desire to solve problems
