Junior Estimator Job at Alcoa Concrete & Masonry, Inc.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating the cost of a project, and the necessary expenses to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.
*This potion requires in-person office attendance*
Responsibilities
- Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients, project managers, and administrators
- Run calls and estimate residential projects
Qualifications
- Familiarity with blueprints, ability to read plans and do takeoffs
- 5 years of concrete construction estimating experience
- Knoweledge on concrete
- Strong communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hyattsville, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Construction estimating: 3 years (Required)
