Position
Junior Full Stack Developer

Location: Belcamp, MD
Security Clearance: Active clearance preferred, or eligible to obtain. U.S. citizenship required

Position Summary
SURVICE is currently seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to support our DoDIAC Team in Belcamp, MD.

• Programming in PHP for WordPress website development and improvements.
• Programming in Angular/Typescript to support frontend development of an in-house information management system.
• Occasional coding in JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, CSS, and/or Python code.
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
• Meeting with IAC Team members to discuss website design and function.
• Designing, building, and addressing upgrades to the website front-end.
• Aggressive problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and creative problem solving skills.
• Independent innovations of website features.
• Creating/maintaining the website architecture.
• Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the web application/user interface.
• Gathering information, experience, and lessons-learned to document and increase efficiency of web application/user interface development processes.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field of study required and 0-2+ years of software development experience preferred.

Desired Experience

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Familiarity with PHP, Object-Oriented Programming, and WordPress Plugin Development
• Experience with Angular/Typescript and other front-end technologies such as CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Familiarity with WYSIWYG website-builder functionality plugins like BeaverBuilder
• Basic understanding of MySQL database development and integration.
• Ability to project manage.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with Azure FedRAMP cloud environments is a plus.
