The Ark is seeking a Kennel Assistant for part time employment who is dependable, responsible and has a passion for animals. Someone capable of interacting with animals and helping our team take care of them. Duties consist of, but are not limited to; checking pets in and out as well as caring for boarding animals and cleaning the clinic & kennel areas. An ideal candidate for this position is positive, reliable and able to interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner. Applicant must be available to work weekends and certain holidays, this is a weekend only position.
Responsibilities:
- Take care of animals.
- Clean and disinfect cages, stalls, and kennel area.
- Feed animals.
- Monitor animals' health and be prepared to take action in case of emergency.
Schedule would be roughly every other weekend:
Friday: 4pm-8pm
Saturday: 8am-12pm
Saturday: 4pm-8pm
Sunday: 8am-12pm
Sunday: 4pm-8pm
Job Type: Part-time

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

- Eau Claire, WI 54701: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
