Lab Tech Associate II

Pay Rate: $28/hr.
6-month contract with great potential to extend or convert.
In terms of our client a leading pharmaceutical company with innovative products for the life science and clinical diagnostics markets. We are looking for a Lab Tech Associate II who will support the engineering and R&D department needs on ddPCR platforms.

Responsibilities
- This position will support R&D and Engineering lab needs
- Assignments will be defined and routine tasks will be repetitive most of the time with opportunity to expand lab techniques/skills upon completion of daily needs.
- May perform simple instrument operation
- Will be responsible for PCR reaction set up, thermocycling, as well as dispensing reaction mixes.
- Responsible for maintaining reagents inventory for daily tasks
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
- 1-2 Years minimum of hands-on experience.
- PCR experience needed
- Experience with simple instrument operation needed
