This hourly, non-exempt position is located at our Westby, WI facility and reports to the Laboratory Manager. Job Requirements:Specific duties and responsibilities of a Laboratory Technician include, but are not limited to,Serve as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission: To enhance the productivity and profitability of dairy and beef producers, Select Sires is committed to be the premier provider of highly fertile, superior genetics accompanied by effective reproductive- and herd-management products and services.Evaluating motility and concentration of semen using microscope and nucleocoutner Entering data in computer processing program Verifying calculations Pipetting and extending semen Setting-up, cleaning, and restocking laboratory Sanitizing glassware and equipment The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30pm and subject to change to meet departmental need.
