Twin City Garage Door is seeking to fill a Leader of Training and Development position. The primary responsibilities of this role include leading a team that designs, develops, and delivers high quality training and development curriculum to employees. The right candidate will have a high attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills. They will work closely with Senior Leadership to ensure alignment of company goals. Essential Duties:

• Promote safety first culture.
• Develop and implement training programs that support the organization s business goals and values.
• Design, develop, and deliver training content using a variety of instructional methods.
• Ongoing evaluation of all training programs to maximize effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
• Manage budget for training and development department.
• Stay up to date on latest industry trends and best practices for safety, training, and development.
• Select, onboard, and manage Training and Development team members.
• Collaborate companywide to ensure alignment between training program, business goals, and Core Values
• Create and maintain documentation for training programs.
• Schedule and coordinate training events and workshops
• Monitor and report on metrics related to training and development programs.
• Assess Tech level status for existing field team.
• Work with safety lead to promote safety best practices.
• Coordinate certification training and testing.
• Traveling to all branches to provide training and development.
• Create training videos for Group Share
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Experience in both corporate and academic training
• Passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS)
• Coaching and communication expertise
• 3+ years previous management experience
• Microsoft office suite
• Excellent organization
• Great presenting skills
• Technical industry knowledge

Requirements:

• Frequent visits to job sites to promote Safety, learning, and development.
• Frequent interaction/working with teams.
• Operating a company vehicle
• Occasional pulling of trailers with assorted tools, supplies and scissors lifts.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds to waist level and above the head.
• Operate scissor lifts and forklifts.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling.
• Occasional work in tight quarters
• Frequent operation of all hand/power tools including but not limited to, impact driver, drills, hammer drills, assorted saws, welders, grinders, saw-cutters, hammer, screwdriver, socket wrenches, etc.
