We are a high volume Center City Philadelphia plaintiff personal injury law firm looking to expand our team.
Legal experience or experience in personal injury insurance claims is a requirement for this position.
The legal assistant will be expected to co-manage a significant caseload as part of team from intake through to litigation support.
Professional and courteous communication skills are a requirement as the job will include regular phone, email and written communication with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers and attorneys.
The legal assistant will be expected to schedule and manage multiple time-sensitive items, such as IME appointments, filings, process service, depositions and of course trial dates.
Excellent computer skills are a requirement as the job includes navigating our case management software (Clio), electronic filing systems (mostly Philadelphia but other areas as well), our networked electronic case file system and a large volume of email, among other programs and websites.
Qualified candidates will have great attention to detail, ability and desire to work in a high-paced, high-stress environment, and excellent organization skills along with being reliable and punctual.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
