JOB SUMMARY

Under close to general supervision, this position is to provide exemplary customer service to patrons by assisting them with various information-gathering and technology use, in addition to performing various library duties, such as working at the circulation desk and reference desk, registering new library cardholders, announcing new library materials to the public, assisting in the search of library materials, adeptly using and exploring library tools, while staying above the learning curve of new information and technology trends and all other assigned related duties.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED and two (2) years' of clerical and library work experience.

Must work a rotating shift, to include evenings and weekends.

This position is non-represented.

This position requires the successful passing of a background check and drug screening.
