Description of Role: Logistics Team Member Hero Logistics, LP(a subsidiary of TOYOTA)

Pay Rate: $14/hr

Mountaineer Employment Solutions has partnered with HERO Logistics, LP (a subsidiary of TOYOTA), and we are currently seeking qualified Logistic Team Members for Buffalo, WV.

A Logistics Team Member is a professional who is responsible for moving goods around warehouses, manufacturing plants or other industrial sites. The Logistics Team Member utilizes a forklift to unload deliveries from trucks and moving material throughout the manufacturing plant. The Logistics Team Member will also utilize a fork tugger to move and stage material modules throughout the warehouse, manufacturing plant and other industrial property.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities:

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stage them in appropriate locations
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Locate and move stock of products to stands, racking and various locations in the manufacturing plant
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Skills and Requirements:

• Ability to be trained & certified to operate a forklift and fork tugger safely, effectively and responsibly
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• Ability to obtain a valid HERO Logistics certification to operate forklifts & fork tuggers
• Proven work experience as a Logistics Team Member or prior work experience that encompasses the job responsibilities is preferred but not required
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work quickly without compromising safety and quality
• Forklift Operation experience is a plus, but not required
• Must pass background check and drug screen for employment
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to always operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner
• Successfully complete HERO Logistics, LP Forklift Certification

Ability to follow all safety requirements i.e. OSHA, Toyota & HERO Logistics, LP

Pay Rate: $14/hr
