Shipping and Receiving Attendant

• Receives, unloads, and processes deliveries and accounts for incoming freight based on invoice and receiving reports.
• Stages merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department.
• Verifies and tracks received inventory and completes inventory reports and logs.
• Reconciles shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy.
• Receives, stores, ships, and delivers incoming and outgoing department packages and mail.
• Secures the receiving room and its contents, ensuring safekeeping of packages.
• Follows all national, state, and local hazardous material shipping guidelines and regulations.
• Ships all out-going mail and packages.
• Verifies quantity and condition of packages upon receipt prior to delivery to owner/guest.
• Communicates with owner/guest regarding received packages.
• Maintains accurate tracking system on all shipping and receiving transactions, including receiving owner/guest signatures for received packages.
• Communicates with proper management regarding any loss or damage with packages.

Requirements:

• Must be available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
• Must have great customer service skills – all of our position come into contact with guests!

How to attend

• When approaching Resort entrance, look out for the big rock waterfall and resort signage as the turn comes up quickly. Turn onto Lawrence Welk Drive, make a right into the second driveway (past guest check-in). Follow signs to the theater/shopping area where Canyon Grill is located and there should be plenty of free parking in the surrounding area. Follow signs and balloons to job fair check-in area, which will be located at Canyon Grill (patio on the left-hand side past the entrance).
